SHORT STORIES

Many of Jack Scoltock’s short stories have been published in Anthologies, Magazines and Newspapers. Some of the Anthologies were, Devenish Island,
The Waterside. Some of Jack’s stories have won and been placed in short story competitions.

His story, County Champion Three Times won best fiction on the Downtown Radio competition. Other short stories of Scoltock’s were placed in Downtown’s terrific competition to encourage new writers. A collection of Scoltock's modern Irish stories can be read on www.virtualtales.com

Jack Scoltock was also commissioned by the Northern Ireland Fire Brigade and the Southern Education Board to write a story that would fit into a pamphlet on Arson. This pamphlet was distributed to schools throughout the Southern Education Board’s area. The Story, Maeve was read by Jack at the launch of the pamphlet in the City Hall in Belfast.
